CD4086 2-Input AND-OR-INVERT Gate

The CD4086 is a 2-input AND-OR-INVERT (AOI) gate from the 40xx series CMOS logic family. This complex gate implements the Boolean function Y = NOT[(A·B) + (C·D)], combining four AND gates feeding into a NOR gate in a single package. The 2-wide, 2-input configuration provides a compact solution for implementing mixed logic functions where an OR-AND structure is required before inversion.
