Stored charge (Q), stored energy (E), and constant-current charge time for a capacitor

Charge Time @ Constant I
Formulas: Q = C×V (charge, Coulombs). E = ½×C×V² = ½×Q×V (energy, Joules). Reverse mode solves C = 2E/V² for a target stored energy at a given voltage. Charge time (constant-current approximation) uses t = Q/I — this ignores the resistance-limited RC charging curve and assumes an ideal constant-current source, common for flash-capacitor and supercapacitor sizing estimates.
