Description
The CD4043 is a quad NOR R-S latch IC, containing four independent set-reset latches built from NOR gates, each with a tri-state (high-impedance) output.
The tri-state outputs let multiple latch outputs share a common bus line without conflict, since a latch in the high-impedance state effectively disconnects from the bus.
