Description

This DC 3–6V High Voltage Step-Up/Booster Module is a pulse generator that converts a low 3V–6V DC input into a high-voltage pulsed DC output, drawing 2A to 5A of input current to generate discharge arcs of up to 400kV.

Input wiring uses a thin red wire for positive and a thin green wire for negative, while the high-voltage output is carried on thick translucent wires designed for arc discharge. At full output, the discharge distance is typically 10mm to 20mm.

The compact module measures 27.3mm x 19.6mm x 20.75mm and is fully epoxy resin potted, which provides insulation and shock resistance around the internal high-voltage components.

Because this module generates a genuine high-voltage arc, test the discharge distance starting from short to long, and avoid running it continuously for more than a few seconds at a time to prevent damaging the internal coils.
