Description
The DS1302 Real Time Clock Module provides accurate timekeeping with a built-in real-time clock/calendar and 31 bytes of static RAM. This Dallas Semiconductor chip communicates via a simple serial interface with microcontrollers, making it easy to add timekeeping functionality to your projects.
Operating from 2V to 5.5V across a wide temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the DS1302 includes automatic leap year adjustment and month-day compensation. The trickle-charge feature allows battery backup (battery not included) to maintain time when main power is removed. Perfect for data logging, timers, clocks, and any application requiring accurate date and time tracking.
