Description
The DS18B20 Adapter is a waterproof digital temperature sensor built around the DS18B20 sensor IC, communicating over a 1-Wire bus so multiple sensors can share a single data line for multi-point temperature monitoring.
It measures across a wide -55°C to +125°C range with ±0.5°C accuracy between -10°C and +85°C, operating on 3.0V–5.5V DC. The stainless steel probe is anti-rust and waterproof-encapsulated, measuring approximately 6mm in diameter by 50mm in length, with a 1-meter lead terminated in red (VCC), yellow (Data), and black (GND) wires.
A 4.7kΩ pull-up resistor between Data and VCC is required externally for proper 1-Wire bus operation, a standard requirement for DS18B20-based sensors.
