The LCD2004 Parallel LCD Display with IIC/I2C Interface is a 20×4 character alphanumeric display module designed for easy integration with microcontrollers. The onboard I2C adapter significantly reduces the number of GPIO pins required, using only SDA and SCL lines for communication, making it ideal for projects with limited I/O availability.

This display provides 80 character positions across 4 lines, offering ample space for status messages, sensor readings, and menus. The parallel LCD controller (typically HD44780-compatible) is driven via the I2C interface, which handles all the timing and signal conversion, simplifying software implementation with readily available libraries.
