CD4538 Dual Precision Monostable Multivibrator

The CD4538 is a dual precision monostable multivibrator from the 40xx-series CMOS family, providing two independent retriggerable one-shot pulse generators. Each multivibrator can be triggered on either rising or falling edges, producing output pulses with a width determined by external RC components. The precision timing capability makes this device suitable for delay generation, pulse stretching, and timing applications.

Operating across a 3V to 18V supply, the CD4538 includes retrigger capability that extends the output pulse width as long as the input remains active.
