Description
The CD40109 is a low-to-high voltage level shifter from the 40xx series CMOS logic family. This device translates logic signals from a low-voltage domain to a higher-voltage domain across four independent channels. Each channel features a 3-state output and separate enable controls, providing flexibility for bus-oriented or multidrop applications where outputs must be isolated when not actively driven.
Designed with separate input and output supply pins, the CD40109 enables reliable communication between low-voltage microcontrollers (e.g., 3.3V or 5V) and higher-voltage peripheral circuits (up to 18V).
