The 2N2219 is an NPN silicon planar epitaxial transistor in a TO-39 metal case, designed for high-speed switching applications at collector currents up to 500mA. It’s rated at 30V collector-emitter and 60V collector-base voltage, and is the higher-gain grade of the 2N2218/2N2219 pair, with hFE of 100-300 at 150mA versus the 2218’s 40-120.
