Description
The CD4512 is an 8-channel data selector (multiplexer) from the 40xx-series CMOS family, routing one of eight input data signals to a single output based on a 3-bit address selection. The device includes an output enable control that forces the output to a high-impedance state when asserted, enabling three-state bus interface capability.
Operating from 3V to 18V, the CD4512 provides the low power consumption and wide supply range characteristic of 40xx-series CMOS logic. The 3-state output is suitable for shared bus applications where multiple multiplexers can be connected to a common line.
