Description

The FlexiForce A401 is a force-sensitive resistor (FSR) that changes resistance in proportion to applied force, allowing analog measurement of pressure or load across a circular sensing area with an active diameter of 25.4mm.

It measures force up to 111N (25 lb) and outputs an analog resistance that varies with the load applied, operating at 3.3V–5V. Built on an ultra-thin (0.203mm) flexible polyester substrate, it can conform to curved or uneven mounting surfaces.

With high repeatability and an operating range of -40°C to +60°C, this sensor is suited to force measurement, pressure sensing, robotics grip feedback, and medical or research applications requiring reliable analog force data.
