The PAJ7620 Gesture Recognition Sensor is a module that detects hand gestures optically, recognizing motions such as swipes and waves without physical contact.

Built around the PAJ7620 gesture-sensing IC, it processes gesture data onboard and outputs recognized gesture events to a connected microcontroller, simplifying gesture-based input compared to building gesture detection from raw sensor data.
