This is a custom-designed infrared sensor holder/mount built for positioning an IR sensor on an Arduino-based project. It was originally designed to hold a sensor for detecting the passage of a product on a conveyor belt, and includes built-in rails that keep the sensor correctly aligned once mounted.
As a 3D-printed piece, it’s manufactured with a 50% infill, balancing structural rigidity with material use — enough strength to hold and position a sensor reliably without being solid-printed.
